Make Dinner for Team Rubicon

Thursdays through October in New Lisbon

Team Rubicon is a nonprofit group of US veterans who respond to crisis and disaster events to serve their neighbors. A group of these veterans is now based at Winding Rivers UMC in New Lisbon to support the Afghan refugees who are moving onto Fort McCoy.

Bridges Church is partnering with Onalaska UMC to provide supper for the team of 25 veterans working out of Winding Rivers. Want to help? Contact Pastor Anna-Lisa to schedule a Thursday to provide food for Team Rubicon. We need to purchase food for 25 people, cook it, and deliver it to Winding Rivers UMC in New Lisbon. We need people to donate money for food, do the shopping, cook at home or at Winding Rivers, and serve the food at Winding Rivers. You can volunteer to help with part of a Thursday or take on the whole thing for one week.

Pastor Anna-Lisa (Bridges) and Pastor Park (Onalaska) are cooking & delivering chili for Sep. 9. A couple from Onalaska have signed up for another week, so we have openings for more volunteers through the end of October. Click here to sign up.
